Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs)
Heat pumps are a highly efficient source of renewable heating with ZERO emissions. ASHPs absorb heat from the outside air to provide heat to your business. Heat can still be extracted from the outside air when the temperature is as low as -15°C.
Heat from the air is absorbed at low temperatures into a fluid. This fluid is passed through a compressor, increasing the temperature. This higher temperature is then passed to the heating and hot water circuits of the building.
